Try this healthy, sugar-free apple banana blueberry smoothie, an easy smoothie recipe perfect for breakfast and fans of berry-banana and apple smoothies!
1 liquid measuring cup for measuring the apple juice
1 Measuring cup for the yogurt
1 blender just a basic kitchen blender, no fancy brand needed
Ingredients
2cupsfrozen blueberries
1frozen bananabroken into chunks, peel it before you freeze it
¼cupplain nonfat Greek yogurtyou can also use vanilla or berry flavored yogurt if you are not concerned about the sugar
1cupsugar-free spiced apple cider mixregular apple juice is fine as well, if you are not concerned about the sugar
Instructions
Measure out the blueberries, place in the colander, and rinse.
Mix 1 envelope of sugar-free spiced cider mix with 1 cup of water.
Place the frozen berries, the banana (broken into chunks), the yogurt, and the apple cider in a blender.
Pulse and blend the ingredients. I sometimes have to take the lid off and push the ingredients around a bit with a long-handled spoon for adequate blending.
