8cupsbeef brothor 8 beef bouillon cubes combined with 8 cups of water
1cantomatoes, cut up14.5 ounce
2tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce

2bay leaves
1cupcarrots, chopped
1cupcelery, choppedoptional
1meaty ham boneor 1 pound chopped ham
Instructions
Put the ham bone in the crock pot (slow cooker) or chop up the ham and add it to the crock pot.
Chop up the onions, carrots, and celery, if using. Add the chopped vegetables to the slow cooker.
Mince the garlic cloves and add to the crock pot along with the rest of the ingredients.
Set the slow cooker on low heat and let the soup cook for six to eight hours.
If you are using a ham bone, just before serving, take the bone out and set it in a bowl to cool. Remove any remaining meat from the bone and return the meat (not the bone) to the slow cooker.
