sliced white sandwich bread

butter

finely chopped

eggs
hard-cooked and finely chopped

cooked shrimp
(or 2-3 cans small cooked shrimp, drained)

pound
fresh crab meat
(or 1-2 cans crab meat, drained)

cup
celery
finely cubed

mayonnaise
more or less to taste
Instructions
Cut crusts from bread and spread slices lightly with butter.
Cut into small cubes so that each slice is cut into about 20 cubes with an electric knife.
Add chopped onion and chopped hard-cooked eggs.
Refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, add shrimp, crab, celery and mayonnaise.
Mix lightly to combine very well.
Cover and let stand 3 or 4 hours in the refrigerator before serving.
To serve, pile lightly on plates rimmed with salad greens. Garnish with slices of cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, if desired
