Sugar Free Apple Cider Drink with Caramel and Cinnamon

Equipment

  • 1 Electric kettle
  • 1 mug
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 small mixing bowl
  • 1 Immersion blender, hand mixer, or wire whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 packet Alpine Sugar Free Spiced Cider mix
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar free caramel syrup
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ teaspoon pur vanilla extract, sugar free optional
  • 1 sprinkle cinnamon optional
  • 1 cinnamon stick optional

Instructions
 

  • If you are making homemade whipped cream, place your mixing bowl and whisk or beaters into the freezer (optional). Let chill for at least 15 minutes.
  • Bring water to a boil.
  • While the water is coming to a boil, make the whipped cream by adding 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream to the chilled bowl along with the vanilla, if using. Whip until you get some frothy peaks. Set aside.
  • Pour one packet of sugar-free apple cider mix into a mug. Add a cup of hot water.
  • Mix until the cider mix is dissolved. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar-free caramel syrup.
  • Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon (optional) and the homemade whipped cream, if desired. Garnish with a cinnamon stick (optional).
